A DSS National Account client in partnership with BT are trialling 10 retail sites for IP signalling. The benefit of IP technology is in using the clients robust network to transmit alarm signals to the alarm receiving centre, the IP signalling is backed up by a built in GPRS transmitter, thus, a fully compliant method of transmission, approved by insurers.

Clients can take advantage of their own infrastructure and deliver real cost savings back into their business, savings of over 50% against traditional Redcare/Redcare GSM solutions – if you have over 500 sites this could release a potential saving of six figures per annum.
